Speaker: Julie Bettinger




This month our speaker will be Julie Strauss Bettinger.  A long-time journalist, she is the author of "Encounters with Rikki:  From Hurricane Katrina Rescue to Exceptional Therapy Dog,” coming out in late 2015.  She recently co-authored a book with Luke Murphy titled, "Blasted by Adversity: the Making of a Wounded Warrior,” published in May, 2015. The title of her talk is:  “The Literary and Virtual Doppelgänger:  Tips on telling someone else’s first person story.” Find her at:  www.JulieBettinger.com
